Molecular Pathology Excellence

Precision Medicine in Practice

Revna Biosciences is dedicated to the study and diagnosis of diseases through the examination of molecules within organs, tissues, or bodily fluids.

Our multidisciplinary lab is ideally suited to meet the requirements of molecular pathology, which intersects with anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, molecular biology, biochemistry, proteomics, and genetics

Our lab employs a variety of molecular pathology techniques across different specialties to diagnose and assess risk for a multitude of diseases.

These techniques include:

quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), multiplex PCR, digital PCR (dPCR), DNA microarray, in situ RNA sequencing, DNA sequencing, molecular profiling of pathogens, and analysis of bacterial genes for antimicrobial resistance.

Pioneering Oncology Solutions with a Focus on Liquid Biopsy

RevnaBio offers a comprehensive suite of oncology assays, including PCR (qPCR and dPCR) and NGS (for solid and hematologic cancers).

These assays provide actionable insights into key driver mutations (ESCAT Tier-1 markers) for a wide range of cancers. Our focus areas include breast, colorectal, lung, thyroid, glioma, hepatocellular carcinoma, cervical, acute myeloid leukaemia, acute promyelocytic leukaemia, chronic myeloid leukaemia, cholangiocarcinoma, and cutaneous melanoma.

A significant highlight of our service is the use of liquid biopsy option in the majority of our oncology assays. Liquid biopsy, which involves a simple blood draw, allows us to detect and analyse tumour DNA or RNA fragments circulating in the blood. This approach offers a more comfortable and less invasive experience for patients, and can provide real-time insights into tumour evolution, response to therapy, and potential resistance mechanisms.

Microbiology Expertise

Harnessing the Power of Precision Medicine

Revna Biosciences, leveraging its ISO accreditation in the sub-specialties of virology and bacteriology, is equipped to address a wide range of unmet needs in the general microbiology space. Our labs are capable of handling level 3 infectious viral and bacterial pathogens, thanks to rigorous protocols and cutting-edge instrumentation.

By integrating the principles of molecular pathology, we delve deeper into the molecular mechanisms of disease, leading to more accurate diagnoses and targeted treatments. Our focus on emerging pathogens ensures we are prepared to support the tackling of new and re-emerging diseases, playing a vital role in safeguarding public health.
